In 1998 two fellow foodies came together while living on Cape Cod. Both loved food and drink. One loved to cook and eat, the other was a computer geek who loved to eat. Both had an uncanny skill of finding great restaurants even in a large tourist area such as the Cape, where "tourist traps" abound! By "great" we mean, great atmosphere, food and service, but not an over-rated, trendy spot.
Enter Foodie Community, this will be your site, a community of foodies who love high quality, may have an interest in wine and cheese, but aren't pretentious and have an open mind to new types of cooking. The foodie community will have recipes, food and wine tips, restaurant reviews, and whatever else you decide should be included.
Our passion and hope for this site is for fellow foodies to share their knowledge of cooking and insight for restaurant suggestions, culinary tips and the like.
